    I’m trying to find a copy of the city’s preliminary operating and capital budgets, but can’t find them on the city’s web site. To the best of my recollection, in the past years, these have been available to the public. Can you help me locate them? If not, could you let me know when they’ll be made available?

      Thank you for your comment to the City of Winnipeg CFO Blog.

      The 2011 Preliminary Capital Budget is posted on the City’s website at Winnipeg.ca (right-hand side, under
      “Highlights.”

      The 2011 Operating Budget will be posted on the same page on the website as soon as the budget is tabled with Executive Policy Committee.

      Both documents will also be available on the Corporate Finance Department site at

      http://www.winnipeg.ca/finance/documents_page.stm

      As part of next year’s consultation, we will include more links to information resources such as these, in order to ensure participants can locate such information more easily.
